Dear Spijkerkwartier citizens!
An international groups of Master students from Wageningen University has made analyses, plans and designs for a ‘climate responsive future’ of the Spijkerkwartier. This involves ideas to use the energy fluxes that now create an uncomfortable microclimate (such as urban heat and wind nuisance) and turn them into potentials to generate energy locally. This approach fits perfectly into the multiple initiatives in the Spijkerkwartier to make the neighbourhood more sustainable. That’s why this is a very interesting and inspiring presentation for you.
On Wednesday evening, 7th of December 2016, the students will present their ideas and want to discuss them with you. The meeting takes place in the new building Spijkerstraat 125 (20 meters left of the Lommerd) The programme will be as follows:
19.30 hrs welcome by the organisers
19.40 hrs 5x5 minutes presentations by the student groups
20.20 hrs 5x5 feedback carousel – audience and students discuss each proposal
21.00 hrs end of the session
We all look forward to see you then! The ‘climate responsive Spijkerkwartier’ team: Patrick Hoogenbosch (De BlauweWijkEconomie), Sanda Lenzholzer, Sven Stremke, Gert-Jan Steeneveld and all students (Wageningen University),
